I received this speaker last week so I don't have any long term reviews of it as of yet, what I will say is that the speaker sounds good, I wouldn't say 1000w of good or even close to that, we have a set of Peavey SP-5 single 15 speakers powered by an older behringer mixer amp, I disconnected 1 side and ran the EV from the Right side XLR out of the mixer and played so music from my phone, I turned the EV input for that channel to about 1/2 and main was at 0db, mixer at about -5db, speaker was loud, clear and good bass response, it was definitely colored a lot more than the SP-5, the bass had more top end punch to it which isn't a bad thing unless you want to make those choices for yourself, but considering the SP-5 is about 10+ oldeh.
